Cormick had a bubble bath last night
Blowing as hard as he can
I love my bubble hat
Trying to blow the bubbles off his hand

A pit of foamy bubbles
duck + foot + bubbles = fun

Upside down Cormick

I left Cormick alone in the bathroom to finish washing his hands and when I came back, he'd decided to use a generous amount of lotion as a hair pomade

Tim took Cormick out to splash around in the puddles while it was raining today

None of these pictures is especially good so I thought I'd mash all four together. They are images from the Birmingham zoo. We went there for the butterfly habitat which Cormick enjoyed but not as much as the little zoo train. He kept hanging his head over the railing like a dog in order to see the front of the train.

Again, nothing great so I just put these two images together. This is from the State Farmers' Market which is also a marketplace for "antiques" on the weekends. Cormick did his best to try and convince us to buy this plastic house for him.

Cormick hanging onto Dad's legs

Dad taking pictures from his vantage point

I love hanging upside down from Dad's legs!

Sometimes life is pure joy

Cormick's first haircut at our new house

He seems calm but as it turns out, his surface demeanor was just part of his ploy to get away from the clipper-wielding Dad
Cormick tries to make his escape by running away and seeking sanctuary from the neighbors

Run, Cormick, run!

Dad's too quick for him and brings him back to our porch for the rest of his haircut

Resigned to his fate
I love this picture even though Cormick looks quite distressed

He wasn't nearly as upset as these pictures seem to indicate. I just thought the ones in which he appears upset were more fun (for us) than the other ones.

All done - and the hairy shirt comes off

See - it wasn't that bad

Back at our new home.

What?

Good afternoon Mrs. Cleaver

Intently drawing on his new pad of paper
When you are two, even saying mosquito can be funny

Closely examining his scooter

After getting to Alabama, we took the opportunity to visit even more relatives in Florida. Yay! Cormick loved seeing his great grandparents, great Aunt and Uncle, and cousins at the beach. Here I am explaining the beach and the waves are very safe.

He didn't believe me so he wouldn't put his feet in right away

Through Tim's efforts, he started to like the feel of the sand and waves

He definitely liked to play in the sand with the gifts from his Great Aunt Louise

Very smiley with Mom

And, on our last day at the beach, we couldn't tear him away from the waves. We'll definitely go back to the ocean soon.

Trying to get Cormick to pose for a picture with Grandma and Grandpa at the ice cream place

This was about the best we could get

Mmmm . . . these flowers smell good

You smell them Aunt Teresa. Closer. Closer. I said closer, damn it! Like this!
